The Award Winning Dibb Euro 2024 Prediction League... Semi Final Fixtures
****Semi Finals start on Tuesday at 8pm ****
Anyone is welcome to play  If you haven't played before the rules are as below:-Its very easy  and here is a very brief rundown of how it works. If for example England are playing Scotland : If you predict England 2 - 0 Scotland and that is the score you get 3 points. If Scotland win by any score or the game is a draw you get no points. If however England win by another score (i.e. 1-0 , 3-2, 4-1) you will pick up 1 point. It works the same for a draw if you predict it to end 1-1 and it does you get 3 points if however 0-0 or 2-2 or 3-3 you will get 1 point. If either team win you will get nothing. Simple  * For all predictions to count they must be posted before the kick off of the first game. However if this deadline is missed we do encourage you to post predictions for the remaining games as long as they are posted before those games start. * Once a set of predictions have been posted, you cannot go back and edit predictions after the start of the first game in that round. * if you choose two double points games neither will be allocated the double point bonus. * if you forget to allocate a game for double points or miss the first fixtures in a round you may add both your double points predicition or the fixture predictions - please add these as a new post on the thread rather than an edit ( see rule above) * If you enter two sets of scores, the Lowest set of scores will count. * In every round in a change to the usual rules YOU will be able to choose one match which will score double points, If you have any questions drop richard252 or Walt4it a PM * For regular players please note the slight change to the usual rules highlighted in blue above - Simply type the words Double Points next to the fixture you wish to have this bonus scoring added. *** Extra bonus points will be available for the remaining rounds. Scores will count after normal time or extra time and an extra bonus point will be awarded for correctly predicting the winner of a penalty shoot out if required. For example, if you predict Spain to beat Germany 2-0 after 90 or 120 mins, you should still make a prediction for the penalty shoot out just in case your prediction is wrong as you will still have a chance to score a bonus point *** *** Scores will count after 90/120 minutes *** Good Luck everyone Just copy and paste the fixtures below and then enter your predictions. (please note your DOUBLE POINTS game Clearly) SEMI FINALS Tuesday 9th July 2024 Spain France Penalty Shoot Out Winner: Wednesday 10th July 2024 Netherlands England Penalty Shoot Out Winner: Quarter final results Well done to LLKJDisney with a huge score of 10 for this round inspired predictions!   Closely followed by DOPEYBAGGIE and walt4it with 9 points.  This takes DOPEYBAGGIE to the top of the league and with pre Tournament predictions still out there this will be very very close.  Mention to buryboy who missed half the fixtures for this round yet still cooked up a huge 8 pints to stave off the frustration of missing Friday’s games. Just goes to show that it's never too late !
