For those who dont know us we are two middle aged disney obssessed menopausal women, who now leave the kids and men at home to go to Disney.

Im Sam (on the left in the black shirt) and my partner in crime is Shaz

After an early alarm call (3.30am) we were on the 6am ferry from Dover to Dunkirk. We got to the parks and sorted out our new annual passes and my accessibility pass. This took over an hour as we were doing two annual passes and the disabled pass

It felt good to have these back in our hands again

As we were really hungry we went into the studios to visit the food festival, this is always our go to if one is on during our visits.

We both chose a fresh baguette, I had tuna salad and Shaz got cheese and ham, she also got some tempura prawns from the new Asia booth

We left the park at about 5.30pm to go and check into our airbnb which was 4 miles away, it was a lovely apartment in the basement of the couples house, lots of storage, private entrance and a very large bathroom

After dropping our bags off we went back to the parks and headed straight into the Disneyland Park, it was ride time.

We rode Pirates, big thunder mountain and phantom manor.

It was then time to watch Dlight and Dreams fireworks, i really appreciate the disabled viewing area as Im very aware of getting my back knocked in crowded places

After the fireworks we headed out of the park via a few shops to eye up what we going to buy later on in the trip

We were going to go to Billy Bobs for a mocktail and snacks but they were closed for a private event, our next choice the sports bar was heaving and had a very very long queue, so we shuttled down to the Earl of Sandwich, which we both love

After food and a mooch around the village shops it was back to the airbnb, it was past midnight when we both crashed into bed
