What a pain you had to change your travel to the airport plans! I hope that is the only hiccup and that everything else goes smoothly.

I'm looking forward to reading all about Hawaii. I'm looking into this for 2024, with a stop for a few days in San Francisco on the way out and San Diego on the way back. So, I hope to pick up some tips.

Have fun on your trip and I hope you enjoy meeting up with your former colleague.

If we hadn’t done both twice before, then we would most certainly have done just that.. SFO out and San Diego back.

In fact, I would on this occasion have done Vancouver out and SFO back.. but there are two of us that decide 🫤.

SFO can be absolutely awesome, if you venture just a tiny bit off the standard, beaten tourist track. I still have plenty more in the area that I want to see.

I had tears at the 9/11 Museum, so I have little doubt that USS Arizona will move me. I guess that somewhere deep inside there is some humanity lurking.
