DLP First Timers Trip Report - 4 Day Stay @ Sequoia Lodge Feb 23 DAY 4

Home time today. Woke up at 8am and all had showers. Packed the suitcase and weighed and we were under which was great. Headed for Breakfast and filled up, pancakes bacon and maple syrup has become my favorite meal!

Once done here we did a last check of the room and went to bag drop. Then we headed into Disneyland Park so I could get a Park exclusive Pandora Charm for my bracelet. That's one from WDW and now one from Paris. Might have to convince the hubby to do another Disney Park 👀
DS wanted to do a couple more rides before the taxi came at 2pm so we did Indiana Jones, Big Thunder, Hyperspace and Star Tours.

On the way out I popped into City Hall to do the tax claim back as the purchases I'd made on merchandise in total was over €101. However something I'd bought wasn't included so I was under that amount and couldn't do the tax reclaim. They also couldn't tell me which item it was but I think it was my Pandora Charm.
We quickly went to WD studios and had a final go on Tower of Terror. Fun fact, every lift has a different story/drop sequence. We managed to do all three on the lower level and our fav was the middle.

Then we had lunch in McDonald's in Disney Village. It was absolutely pandemonium in here and we were cutting it fine for our taxi. Scoffed food down and off we went back to the hotel to collect baggage. We were in a rush and today of all days I decided to turn right out of Disney Village past Newport Bay which took SO LONG to get to Sequoia!

I somehow misplaced the ticket they gave me to collect the luggage so now I was filled with panic, taxi was waiting and I had to go in and hunt out our bags. Luckily I've been learning some French on Duolingo so I could tell him one big green suitcase, one small blue suitcase and a small backpack 😂 5 mins later and we had found them and were on the way to the airport.

Bag drop had no queue, neither did security so once we were through we stopped and had a drink in starbucks. We then headed for the gate and there's a passport check there were they stamp your passport again so leave plenty of time. Luckily we were straight through again.

For those with gamers there are a lot of PS5 stations near the gates so you can keep the little ones quiet. I sat peacefully whilst DS and hubby played FIFA 😂
We were soon boarded and up in the air. Flight was an hour back to Manchester and we were soon home and unpacked!

I'm really sad that there will be no more Disney now for a while but their costs are just increasing and I think we want to see more of the world at more affordable prices.

Next up for us is Portaventura in July, De Efteling in February and then next October Yas Island. 2026 will be our next trip to Florida for Epic Universe!
