It's here...! At last! our first Disney Trip since 2019, and the excitement levels are off the chart!

Connor and Mason both finished school at lunchtime and we dropped the Dog with Chris' parents and My mum was looking after the cat

Then we heaeded to Manchester Airport - we stayed at the Premier Inn Runger Lane South. I paid £130 for two rooms.

Connor also wanted separate rooms for Disney but clearly i said no chance due to cost, the best he could have was a night of peace the night before we fly (he has parents that snore ha, and we have spent the last 10 years in villas, not hotel rooms so i feel his pain but needs must and all that.

We had a google as to where to eat and decided on the Romper pub. it was a 10min walk up the road and it was really lovely.

I know photo's of food isn't everyone's cup of tea but I love food detail in reports so sorry folks! Food was lovely, it was busy so food took a a bit longer than expected but we were in no rush so it was totally fine

We had £6.50 in Clubcard vouchers so decided to use them off the bill, so we got £13.00 off.

Chris and I had 2 alcoholic drinks each, the kids had soft drinks, We all had a main, the kids both had an additional side and Mason had a dessert.

the bill came to £89.72 and with the club card discount final bill was £76.72

Really enjoyed the whole experience here and would 100% visit again.

As an aside to our lovely holiday and all the excitement, the day before we left for the Airport i found out I won a competition in a book group I am in, I was over the moon, it was so exciting! Basically I was gifted a ton of books from my amazon wish list, both physical and kindle. I had been receiving notifications of kindle books gifted to me all day.

Whilst we were at the pub my mum messaged me and said she'd taken in lots of parcels for me, what a wonderful thing to return home too, especially when you know the Disney Blues will have set in!

Back to the hotel and asleep by 10pm with an alarm set for 3am. I woke up at 1am not well at all, cough, cold, sore throat etc. All my troops had been ill in the previous 2 weeks and I had done well to avoid it, but still I was half expecting it so I had brought a tuck load of medicine with me. I dosed myself up and tried in vain to sleep...

What a loooonnngggggg day I had ahead of me...
