It might be a little too far south for OP but if anyone else ventures down this way it’s worth keeping this in mind.😎

Its not far from the Blackwater wildlife drive which is also worth doing. We went here early august a few years back and saw manatees. We stayed overnight at cocoa beach after a day at Kennedy and did the wildlife drive and visitors centre before heading back to Orlando.
