After various blood tests mri and cat scat i have been diagnosed with myeloma. It's a form of blood cancer that eats holes in your bones and causes them to become weak and exposing nerves. The destruction from this also carries the calcium particles from your bones to your kidneys which blocks the filtration of the kidneys which ends up with renal failure if not treated.
So have a bone marrow extraction on Tuesday that is sent away to be analysed and will give them an idea of the severity of my illness and the way for treatment. I may be choosen to go on medical trials and have my own personal plan rather than one hat fits all approach.
Glad I cancelled my trip to Asia as I can't start to imagine the complications if I had arrived in China with the pain I get atm.
The specialist said its treatable but not curable and I have a long road ahead.
Medically retired on Friday as unable to now work.

Also a word of warning. I was going to go to a chiropractor the week before but changed my mind. The specialist said this could have done futher damage to my vertebra by actually snapping the bone and causing life threatening issues.
Don't want a pity party but will chart my progress

I am starting to feel better in myself but the illness stops you doing certain things that previously you didn't give a thought about.
I go to the hospital once a fortnight to have isatuximab by iv which is my maintenance drug for 12 months.
At that stage an AI computer decides my next 12 months from there on
