Dining with others - who have the dining plan
My DH, DS and I are staying off-site.
My sister and her husband and daughter have decided to join us on holiday, but are staying on-site at Disney with the dining plan. We intend to eat out together a lot as a single party and have booked a number of reservations for 6. Will there likely be a problem with 3 on the dining plan and 3 not on the dining plan? Many thanks in advance! |

No problems at all. When you are seated or even at the podium mention the fact there will be 2 different checks required, 1 on the DDP and 1 on cash.
They do this all the time. We had this back in 2015 when my Daughter and her Family came but had a DDP booking. To complicate ours further we were also using a Tables in Wonderland Card and so put their alcohol on my bill - well not the Childs!

Thank you! That's great help. We are PAP holders and are going to get Table's in Wonderland when we go this visit. We have a number of visit's booked in the next year, so think we'll make savings.
This was going to be my next question, but thankfully you've saved me the trouble |

The TIW card is a life saver for me. Especially as we have a couple of glasses of wine at a bar before dining. So handy when my Son pinches the rental car keys!
There is a price to pay if you want to drive!

Is it worth asking them to put the 3 most expensive meals through the dining plan too to save the other family some money? Maybe you could split the savings between you?
