Paris CDG To Val de europe
I am thinking of flying for a change for my next trip, probably from Heathrow staying at val De Europe.
I know the TGV gets you to chessy in what 10 minutes. Would that be a worthwile option bearing in mind i'd have to then go back to val de europe as I don't think it stops there does it..? |

The TGV does not stop at Val D'europe so you would need to then change to the RER at Marne la Vallee. This costs less than €2 single. The TGV can be a bit of a pain to get the timing right and is not that cheap either. So I would opt for a taxi transfer. We use RS transports but there are a few other companies that others would recommend too.

You can purchase books of tickets at the RER station. I am not sure of the cost of these as we have never needed them. This may work out cheaper for you if you are doing the journey everyday. Most hotels in the Val d'europe area have shuttle buses to the parks as well. However I hate the shuttle buses with a passion so I personally would jump on the RER and for me it would be worth the extra cost.

There is a bus from the Disney Bus station which is next to the TGV station that goes to Val D Europe - if that helps.

L'Elysée Val d'Europe is where I am staying. Don't mind a walk if it's not too far...

We did all three...
1. Walked.. it’s a good 20 mins walk and it isn’t obvious unless you’ve been driven. Plus you probably don’t want to lug a suitcase 2. Shuttle bus to l’elysee is good. Great going to the parks as you’re first on! Should b e ok during the day as they’ll be quiet. There is an app you can download to track the bus too. 3. Rer This was really easy and quick. So quick it wasn’t worth finding a seat. We got a pre booked taxi from hoppa.. £80 return for 2. Was fine |

Now my eldest has said that if possible, he'd rather go by train :-\
I have not promised but said i'd check Eurostar out. Does anyone know when the next dates are published as they only go up to Christmas Eve. I am after New Years Eve.. |

I think it’s 6 months for Eurostar but only 3 for tgv.
Not sure about direct trains in the off peak season though. |
