Day visit to Disney Hotels
Hi
Can someone advise if you have to pay for parking at Disney hotels if we are visiting Disney hotels to have a look around i.e. not staying there.

Never been asked to pay but it is restricted to 3 hours. Normally say we are going to eat at the quick service. You would have to pay if you valet parking though.

I think most resorts don't mind if you are going to have a look around but I would avoid Beach Club and Yacht Club. We went over there when we were staying at SS to have a walk along the Boardwalk and get a pizza from the famous pizza window and they wouldn't let us park unless we had a restaurant reservation we could show them. They said they get too many people visiting from outside the resort to allow people to park and advised we go back to Saratoga Springs and make our way to the Boardwalk using Disney transport Apparently a lot of visitors like to park at these resorts to avoid paying for parking at Epcot and so have ruined it for everyone else. We told them we were onsite guests from Saratoga Springs but they said it didn't matter. We have visited other resorts without this problem though, including Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Polynesian.

Having stayed at AKL and having gotten back from a long park day only to need to stalk someone to find a parking place, I wish the resorts would limit parking for non-guests (maybe have a separate lot). I feel guests of the hotel should have priority in parking.
I understand someone wanting to have a look around but they shouldn't be upset if they are turned away, |
