Photo package

Looking at pre purchasing the all your digital and photo print package. Reading on the web site it states you only get prints that were displayed in the photo gallery.
My question is has anyone done this and how many prints did you actually get? $75 for only one or two I may just as well only get the digital prints.

They print out some for display, but not many. The digital package is a good one if you like getting your photo done, there's plenty of opportunity for it.

Sorry to crash the thread, but thought it might be a good place for another DCL photo package question!
Is it better to pre-order the photo package? Did I read somewhere you can cancel it on board if you’re not happy with your photos (like that is ever going to happen )

If you pre-order it, it's cheaper. And yes, you can cancel it by all account (but I've never done it).

Hi Bats, We are just back from the EBTA on the Magic and they have done away with the printed photos on display.I don't know if it's only on the Magic since its refit or if all the ships have changed.
William.

Has anyone done the photobook? I'm quite shocked at the price for the photo package on our cruise? I wondered if this might be a better option for us as I rarely print out any photos?

I was also looking at this. I think you have to pay postage for them to post it home for you.

Be great to get views from people who have bought one.

we've never done the photo book, just the all prints (all digital on last cruise) but we were talking to a lady on our last cruise and she did say that it took her quite a long time to go through all her photo's to choose the ones for her book and in some ways she regretted it as it ate into her cruise time.
I know she was at a lot of the photo ops (like us and we had well over 500 photo's) so not sure if this was just her or if anyone else had this issue?

We did the Magic Med cruise and asked about the photo book. They would have to ship it to us from the US so it was too expensive.

We bought a 10 photo digital package. We only had about 20 photos taken anyway. We did meet quite a few characters but as we don’t have kids we didn’t do them all.

We got the book from our WBTA in 2014. Our son loves to look at the books from our WDW trips.

I was disappointed in the DCL book, it’s very poor quality compared to the WDW ones we have. I know it wasn’t long after the Magic refit but the pics were of before that.

I had it posted to us and luckily I didn’t have to pay any customs duty on it.
