Well I've faxed my forms off today (they won't accept scans for some reason) so hope they get a move on with it now. I've had to order some cash now in case they don't sort before we go away

I'm hoping they get it all sorted before we go on hols in 2 weeks as now seriously thinking about closing the account... only opened it really for our DVC dues.
Oh Lordy not good! Sometimes I just want to save the cash & take cashmere my husband does take around 1500-2000 in cash & then the rest we use our normal cards 😬

Not the time to ask this, but when you get a chance how does it work with your dvc? I hate having to pay my annual dues inninengo!

When you login under Dues you have the option to setup a monthly direct debit but it has to be linked to a US checking account (current account) so you can pay it monthly instead of annually. I pay it monthly & transfer the momey over using Revolut very easy and always a good rate

Yes WG, ST's fee free is available as long as one keeps $500 in the account.

As winter snowbirds we came close to opening a ST account in November upon arrival, but procrastinated. Won't bother now, we can use TransferWise to pay rent to the home owner and Halifax Clarity for purchases/ATM withdrawal (never used ATM here). My brother has a Bank of America account to service his Cape Coral home direct debits, we can use his debit card for any online purchases/$ transfer if needed.
