Well I've faxed my forms off today (they won't accept scans for some reason) so hope they get a move on with it now. I've had to order some cash now in case they don't sort before we go away

Well some good news...which I never expected this quickly, the online payments have been credited back to our account so just the cheque for $920 to be paid back phew!

Oh Lordy not good! Sometimes I just want to save the cash & take cashmere my husband does take around 1500-2000 in cash & then the rest we use our normal cards 😬
Not the time to ask this, but when you get a chance how does it work with your dvc? I hate having to pay my annual dues inninengo!

When you login under Dues you have the option to setup a monthly direct debit but it has to be linked to a US checking account (current account) so you can pay it monthly instead of annually. I pay it monthly & transfer the momey over using Revolut very easy and always a good rate

Yes WG, ST's fee free is available as long as one keeps $500 in the account.
As winter snowbirds we came close to opening a ST account in November upon arrival, but procrastinated. Won't bother now, we can use TransferWise to pay rent to the home owner and Halifax Clarity for purchases/ATM withdrawal (never used ATM here). My brother has a Bank of America account to service his Cape Coral home direct debits, we can use his debit card for any online purchases/$ transfer if needed.
