Mobile First time to Orlando...advice needed!

Hi all, im totally new to this and just need a few pointers. We are a family of 4 with 2 teens and have Disney and uninversal tickets. I have planned where we are going each day but should I plan what rides to do as well? We are staying in a villa so I don't think food will be much of an issue. Planning on having a big breakfasts and taking lots of snack! Any advice will be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance

Hi! I would plan your rides too and book Fast Passes as soon as you can. Along with this site I use the Unofficial guide to Walt Disney World 2018 too. It has pull out day by day itinery for each park and advises what Fast passes to get. Not sure if you have registered your tickets with Walt Disney world yet? And downloaded their app onto your phone? Always take your swim stuff in the car if you are staying at a villa so if its gets too hot you can pop to the water park to cool down! Hope this helps

Thank you for your info Lynne. I have downloaded the Disney world app and added the tickets. Just need to book the fastpasses. I will have a look at the unofficial guide, thanks for that. Good idea keeping the swimsuit in the car, will be doing that one too!

Hi,
Welcome to your new addiction, lol 8-)
We always try to start with the Magic Kingdom, just seeing the castle takes you back to your childhood, that with the music and general atmosphere always makes a great start to a Florida holiday. (Go over on the boat if possible).
Good idea to have 3 days at Universal, lots of great rides and of course Harry Potter
Florida Mall always good for shopping.

Enjoy your trip,

Dont forget to enjoy yourselves.
We were a couple aged 30, visiting for the first time last year. The Dibb continually told us - you cant see and do it alll (despite the quieter season) - dont overstretch yourselves, enjoy and take it all in. You pay a hell of a price to get there, so get your monies worth and make some memories.

Have you used the busy day guide to plan your days ?
The most obviosu things about your plan are that your first 6 days look very full on. 5 park days and a reasonably long trip to the beach.
Then you have a shopping day, followed by 3 water days out of four.
I would maybe swap either your typhoon lagoon or your pool day for the cocoa beach day

Thank you Buryboy for your advice, the beach, shopping, water days are flexible to swap. I thought the first few days were full on. I did check crowd checker on undercover tourists website. It's hard trying to fit everything in. But i think being flexible is the key especially if the kids are tired... mind you it will probably be us!
