Fort Lauderdale - where to eat?

We are visiting Fort Lauderdale for 2 nights this year for the first time and would welcome recommendations on where to eat? We are staying at the Courtyard by Marriot, Fort Lauderdale Beach.

I was just about to recommend a restaurant I ate in about 5 years ago and was planning to go back to in October. I did a quick check and it closed about 4 weeks ago!

I'm now hoping you get some recommendations as I will be looking for somewhere to eat on our last day before we go to the airport and fly home.

We ate in the Quarterdeck restaurant last year, the menu was OK, it does well on TripAdvisor and it was only a ten minute walk from our hotel.

As it turned out we didn�t really get past the special of the day.

A whole lobster for $16

We were there for only two nights and it was our last evening so we went to Longhorn for a last steak hit.
