I was wondering if anyone had done the trip to Clearwater beach with the dolphin boat trip? I've seen it on Orlando attractions and a few others. It would work out under £200 for a family of 4. A big difference to discovery cove.

It's a great place to go visit

Its an easy drive there if you're happy to do it, parking can be tricky but if you're early enough you'll get a space.

You can book the boat trips yourself direct with the companies, one for example being little toot littletoot.us/

We aren't getting a car but I've seen they have pick up points at some Disney hotels.

Would you need to book the boat in advance do you know or are there places you can walk up on the day and book?

Lots of boat trips going out at various times of day.
We go August/September and Easter and have never pre booked! (2ad2ch)

Sorry to jump on the OP thread, but is there parking near the Little Toot. If so, can you park there all day

Hi RachV,

We've booked this trip, also with Orlando Attractions. It looks good, the company operating the dolphin tour is called The Tropics Tour I think. We don't have a car either and our pick up point will be the Swan. If you book the trip Orlando Attractions will ask you for your hotel and then send through a voucher by post. It will have on there your nearest pick up point and also the time you have to be at the pick up.

We're going on for my husband's birthday on 31 August - I am hoping that it's going to be good but then surely you can't go wrong for two hours on a boat?!

We parked our car for a few hours near the marina and crossed the road to get on the Little Toots boat ride. We didn't find parking too much of a problem to be honest.

There are a lot of boats that all do similar and go throughout the day so if you don't pre book I can't see it being a problem.
