Mobile NFL game Jacksonville?

Hi
We would love to see a nfl game and there is a preseason game on the 25th August in Jacksonville! Has any one been there to watch a game? Is it worth going? Would prob stay overnight as it’s a night game. Thanks ☺️

I've been to games and they're great fun.

A word of warning though, pre-season games are fairly low key. They're generally about trying out players who may or may not make the team.

But, saying that, Week 3 - the game vs Falcons you're looking at - normally has the starters playing more than in any other pre-season game.

Also, it should be a lot cheaper to pick tickets up than a regular season game.

Have fun!

There is also a week 4 game if you are still in Florida then;

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Raymond James Stadium, Tampa
Thu, Aug 30 2018 - 7:30 PM

Parking is easy to find but also can be pre booked via Ticketmaster as well.

Getting to Jacksonville is really easy but we’ve always done transport from Orlando so hubby can have a drink. EverBank (will never get used to calling TIAA Bank) is a lovely stadium and the fans are lovely.

You can book via ATD in the UK and they do transport & ticket or transport only options. They in turn use Florida Dolphin Tours who you can also book through directly. The tickets are often at the top which for an evening game should be ok but for afternoon games there is no shade and you will melt. Last time we bought tickets via the Jags site but spoke online to them to get advice on which would be good seats to grab.

It will be a late night - think Rory & Dan got back at about midnight but they were one of the first dropped off.

Hubby really wants to go to that game as well but it is oldest DS’s 16th birthday and he is a Seahawks fan so doesn’t want to go to a Jags match!

We are going to the game on the 30th August. Cost us $144 for 5 in the cheap seats. Can't wait.

I think my teenage boys would love to see the game on the 25th August. Will probably DIY via TM and drive up but thinking of staying there overnight and calling back in St Augustine on the way home.

Any tips on best reasonably priced seat (preferably not in the nose bleeds and somewhere to stay on the Saturday night that's easy to drive to from Orlando ie south of the stadium?
