Appreciate all the recommendations, mostly for Alamo, but fair bit dearer than Hertz (15 days standard SUV £427), so am thinking of going with Hertz. .

We've booked with Andy for this year but are looking again for next year. Just wondering how far in advance is best to book price wise? Or do you just need to keep an eye on it until it gets to a price you're happy with?

Never booked via Virgin before but got full sized SUV for 8 nights for about £265 after tip off on here. Was pleased with that price.
