Congrats on booking your first Disney cruise, we should warn you that cruising (with any company) becomes a fairly addictive holiday I'm afraid.

Have a read of the sticky thread at the top of this cruise forum - I've updated the photos somewhat but it still needs more work, you'll get the idea though and it will help with some of your queries.

I would also avoid top deck as the chair and sunlounger scraping can be infuriating - bear in mind that they start cleaning the decks at 4am.
If you are absolutely stuck on having a veranda (I wouldn't ever have one on such a short cruise), then the 5e ones are nice, but you will feel more vibration back there. It's really more when you dock or leave, but it's early morning and the bow thrusters can go right up to the top deck! You will also be overlooked by Cabanas somewhat. It doesn't bother us, but just to make you aware of what can happen.

My top tip is to relax and not try to do everything. So, don't book an adult only meal in Palo/Remy, don't try to fill your days with excursions. Enjoy the ship as that is its own destination too.

On the Dream, you will be able to see the new Beauty and the Beast show one night - don't miss it. The DCL shows are Broadway style and the quality is amazing. You'll have a show each night and this will be before or after your scheduled dining time (nobody misses out).

Hope that helps

Joa
