Uber to Airport and Back to WDW in Car

Hi,

We have booked to pick our car up from MCO in the middle of our trip. We are onsite the first week so picking the car up on Day 6 of 14 so we have it for the full second week. Also, its getting picked up from MCO because we have booked through BA Exec Club and they don't do downtown locations apparently.

So, my questions (finally) are:

Am I best to take an Uber to MCO to pick up the car or is there another cheaper way to get there?

Once I've picked the car up, is it fairly easy to navigate out of the airport and back to the Polynesian? Reason for this question is that if possible, I'd rather just go and get the car myself rather than drag DH and the kids along for the ride but DH is usually my navigator as my sense of direction is rubbish so if its difficult to get around, I'll bring him along for my peace of mind.

I have never driven in the US before but usually drive in Europe when we holiday there. I've not reserved a GPS system but plan on using Google Maps on my phone.

Any advice would be welcome
