We went tonight, after lots of reviews by fellow dibbers but just didn’t feel the love.
Felt it was very overpriced KFC, I know you’ll all hate me for saying it, as I wanted to love it but it was just ok, nothing to get excited about!
DH had the chicken meal and I had the chicken and donuts, we ordered a side of mac n cheese which was cold so had to have this exchanged, it was just ok and not worth the $8 for a side
Sorry but won’t be going back, and please don’t hate me for not liking it

Fletcher, that’s really very helpful and have been thinking about cancelling our ADR’s for here. Have two and am on the QSDP. Was wondering if it was kfc like but priceier.

No one is going to hate you! You’re entitled to your opinion. I enjoyed it and will go back but it’s ok that you didn’t!

I just felt it was nothing great, I’ve had tastier chicken from KFC to be honest

That’s exactly what my DH said about it when we went, I also didn’t really get having fried chicken with donuts x

I had the donuts, but they are cinnamon tasting, rather than sweet sugar I was expecting
$100 for 2 starters 2sodas and 2chicken dinners, expensive mistake, but hey never mind

Giving it a try next month. Stuff like chicken and donuts is a gimmick not a dish IMHO. More like a freak-shake or some other nonsense that is designed by marketeers for Instagram first and by chefs for taste a distant second. I'm going to try to avoid that stuff and pick something off the menu that sounds like a real dish.

Even if you just go for the chicken dinner, we felt the chicken although well cooked wasn’t really that tasty or juicy
Maybe the likes of the meatloaf or a fish dish might be more to your taste and more individual

Thanks, I'd heard good things about the chicken itself before but its one of those items that can come out really bad if not done right. Was thinking of going for maybe the chopped pork BBQ plate or a sandwich but my wife might go with the chicken (no donuts she can't stand cinnamon!). Fingers crossed it works out

I really fancy trying it as so many people say it’s amazing but I just can’t get past the fact most of the food is beige. Really not that healthy an eater but I do feel a colour is needed on the plate whether veg or even bbq beans.
