Balsamic vinegar - can’t cook onions without it (and I don’t like onions so will only eat them blended fine and fried in balsamic but that provides the base of a lot of meals)

Havent tried that - will have to! I like it drizzled/dipped on bread.

Love balsamic vinegar on salad, we went strawberry picking yesterday and in the shop they had a few different ones DD bought one with lemon, orange and ginger in its gorgeous they also had a raspberry and a blueberry flavour which were very nice.

Definitely chorizo for me too - I love it, and smoked paprika.
Quark, Quinoa, Olives, Brie, Dipping oils and Passata are other staples.

Passata goes in all my dishes instead of chopped tomatoes.

My kids have an allergic reaction to tomato skin. It doesn't make them sick or anything - just stubborn. Won't eat visible cooked tomatoes !
