You really must exploit the PI buffet to its maximum. All you have to look forward to in the next 12 hours is an airline lunch.

We’re booked for this September for our Italy trip, once prices are out for next November I’ll book straight away as the prices seem cheaper, they gradually creep up.

Agree with everything the others have said, however if you also need car parking take a look at the Marriott courtyard. You can usually get a night and 15 days parking there for about £120 and it's much nicer than the premier inn. Also walking distance (depending on your definition of walking distance)

For Oct 18 I paid £37.50, today it is showing £54.

Book early as Fred Pontin said
How far ahead does the saver rate become available?

You can get the saver rate at any time that they offer it there are no hard and fast rules. If they think they will easily sell out the hotel that night they won't offer it all (this is very rare) once they have sold a certain amount at saver rate they stop offering it also

Spot on. I have a look once I have booked my flights so circa 11 months out. If the saver rate isn't loaded yet I count up the number of days I have to wait and load it on Outlook Calender with a reminder.

Sad that I am I use Calendar reminders for everything! May sound crazy but it does me well.

Don't rule out the A23 if it's significantly cheaper- we've booked it for next year despite normally using the North one. Okay, the North one is great, but I saved £20 on the A23 one and it's only a 5 minute walk. Of course that £20 saving might not be worth it if you are travelling with kids and tonnes of luggage! I'm sure my husband will whinge even though it's just our luggage lol.

I booked it this week, I haven't been checking religiously but last time I checked (maybe 2 weeks ago) the saver rate for May wasn't yet available. This week it was so maybe it's around 11 months out they start offering it?

Thank you to all who replied. It sounds like 11 months ahead is the best time to start looking and then check once a week thereafter.
