I am hiring a mini van , I prepaid thought Alamo brits however when I went o check in online it is still showing the amount to be paid at counter, I have email confirming payment

I used Alamo Brits at MIA last year and selection etc was fine

It's a fault on the booking system, many people have had this but nobody has been asked to pay twice.

OP. As per the above post.

I am seeing this regularly albeit not as much as last year. It is/was a glitch in the Alamo system but nobody has been charged twice. Just make sure you have your original paperwork that shows it was pre paid and double check the paperwork the garage guys give you as you exit.

We just got back and ours was the same, both at online check in and on the Print out they give at the barrier - I did clarify with the girl at the barrier who was totally confused but did say if you have pre-paid you won't be charged again and not to worry it just lists the total price again even if it's been paid - I wasn't totally convinced she was convinced by what she was spouting but i've checked and nothing else has been taken out and on return the only charge owed was for the pre-pay fuel
