gatwick central travelodge

Anyone stayed here recently and if so how is the renovating going. we are booked for one night in feb and by the reviews on tripadvisor i am a little worried. Are the rooms realy old fashioned or are they like regular travelodges

Hopefully it will be fully refurbished by the time you are due to stay. I'm guessing that it will be a very nice hotel as the bare bones were previously the 4* Mercure. If it is delayed further and the Lowfield TL are still experiencing heating problems then you might want to reconsider!

Thanks will take a look. I know we only paid £19 a night but i hope its clean.
