Does anyone think December holidays will go ahead?
I had the same argument with VH. Managed to rebook a slightly different holiday for 2022.

We have our balance due at the end of the month, after changing our July holiday. We don’t want to go, the changes to Disney are too much for the amount we are paying, and we can’t isolate when we get back - as well as the fact we might not even be allowed to enter! We would love our deposit (£900) back, but I feel we’ll have to rearrange for holiday #3. We’ll wait for them to contact us.

We missed our final balance date, and tried on numerous ocassions to contact virgin. I finally got the email saying our flight had been cancelled and offered a full refund of the deposit. I would recommend holding out if you can

Our final balance was due mid July, but we didn’t want to go. I tried numerous times to contact VH, by various methods but couldn’t, so we decided to cancel and lose the deposit. The whole thing just got too stressful and seemed to be taking over our lives. We filled in the cancellation form online and got the automated response. We made a new booking for 2021 and started a new countdown. Our original booking remained on Manage My Booking but assumed it was because they were so busy. Last weekend however, we got the email saying our holiday was cancelled and telling us or options. I rang VH on Monday explaining that we had cancelled back in July but was told on their system our booking was still live so we could have a refund of our deposit. We decided to transfer it to our new booking which was done immediately. I can’t advise anyone what to do, but this was our experience. I telephoned VH and got through almost immediately and didn’t have to wait for a call back, it was all sorted in one call.
