Which hotels are within walking distance of parks
Thinking of possibly renting some DVC points for a night or two and wondered which would be the best resort to stay at. We are staying for 2 weeks at SSR but when we went to WCC in October DH really liked the look of WL and said how he would like to stay there some time and as it's his 40th next year I thought it might be quite nice to do this.
However, would somewhere like BCV have more appeal with being able to walk in to epcot etc. Can you walk into any of the other parks from DVC properties? Thanks

You can walk to Magic Kingdom from BLT, a quick an easy walk and if you don't feel like it you can use the monorail instead!

Thanks Dawn, don't know why but BLT doesn't really appeal all that much, think it's too modern etc. Are any of them within walking distance of HS?
Think it will probably be WL as this was the one that hubby specifically liked!

The Boardwalk has a pathway to walk to Hollywood Studios and is next to Epcot too.

Contemporary for MK or Boardwalk for Epcot.
WL is a short boat ride from MK and there are the 'monorail hotels' (Contemporary; Grand Floridian; Poly) Beach club is about 30 mins walk from HS but you could get a boat (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, and Dolphin.) Have a look here -it may help with planning Edited at 07:50 PM. |

We often walk from the Boardwalk to HS, (funnily enough we tend to get the boat back!) I've never timed it but it never feels 'too far', iyswim. It's a pleasant stroll along the river.
It's also a very easy walk to Epcot, in fact I don't think we've ever got the boat to Epcot as there is just no point, it's so close. |
