Have you stayed at Holiday Inn Heathrow?
Just got a family room for £44 through Hotwire.
I have stayed in Holiday Inns before and have always been happy. Does anyone know if it is an easy drive to get to the airport, mainly Terminal 4? We are doing a meet and greet parking deal for £75 for 18 days car parking, so quite pleased to manage to get it all sorted for not much over £100. Also, Is the restaurant nice with a good selection? Won't be doing breakfast as we need to leave about 4.30 am |

Which one have you got? There are at least two different Holiday Inns at Heathrow, possibly three.
I've stayed at the HI on Sipson Road, think it might be called M4 Holiday Inn. If it's that one, happy to help

The hotel is a pretty standard HI. We got there quite late but were happy with the room quality. The restaurant is sort of open plan to the bar and screen off from reception, didn't have a lot of atmosphere and the food choices were not very inspiring, but you would struggle to not find something you liked: fish and chips, burgers, lasagne, pizza, Hunters chicken type stuff? Think the fish and chips were about £12 to give you an indication of price.
There was a separate bar which was Irish themed but because we arrived late they were not doing food, so we were stuck with the main one. There was mention of a buffet but think it was shut by the time we arrived? Drinks were the usual price in an airport hotel, ie pricey We flew from T3 and it was no more than a mile or so from the airport. I'm not sure where T4 is in relation to it though

Thanks for the info.
Depending on whether my DS has a final exam on that day as to when we will get there, but we are aiming for about 7pm at the very latest so should be able to get something for tea. Dh did say there was a nearby pub serving food if we didn't fancy what was on offer. Trying to get a family room that doesn't consist of a hard, lumpy and often too small put u up for 2 teenagers is a nightmare but I already knew that HI will do 2 double beds in the room, which is what we were after. |

Oh, I totally hear you! I've got two girl flavoured teens myself
We didn't manage to arrive until about 930pm so I'm sure you'll be fine.
