We had a gorgeous hot day today in Animal Kingdom. Was worried after the storm last night. So far so good for us but we're only on day 3 of a 2 week holiday but we shall see, fingers crossed :-)

Landed in the early evening on Tuesday (17th) to most horrendous thunderstorm. The forecast said storms all day yesterday, so we changed plans only to find the most amazing sunshine and not a drop of rain! We lay by the pool and it was lovely.

Today (Thursday) had looked great, so we headed to AK but it was just insane. The rain made it really unbearable and we admitted defeat by 3.30 PM and we are back in the villa and looking at our plans over the next day or so. The trouble is, the forecast is so variable, so it's impossible to predict. Still, it's Disney!

Mega thunderstorm at Epcot this afternoon lasted a couple hours. No ponchos for us ...the rain was nice and warm! But we expect this as its a subtropical climate!

No point in worrying, the weather will be what it is, nothing can change it. Being subtropical you will get some rain at some places around Orlando most days.
Today as I said we had bad storms at Epcot. Myself and Mrs PPM were stuck in the Mexico Pavilion for a couple hours, yet across the lake in the UK area my son and hid GF were only affected for 10 minutes then the sun came out at their side of the lake

This morning was extremely hot & sunny but this afternoon was extremely heavy rain showers ... We were in Animal Kingdom... Avoided one whilst on the safari tour & was in character dining for 2 hours whilst it poured down ! Hoping it is dryer tomorrow ! Lesson learnt today though...cover up the pushchairs when leaving them in buggy park... Ours got saturated today :-(

We saw loads with A cheap poncho over the pushchair . Might be worth a trip to dollar tree X

When our boys were small we used to have a poncho each and one for the stroller!
