2 Food Questions in One...

Any advice on the following please:

1. Can anyone recommend any non-chain restaurants? We often go to Millers, Longhorn, Tony Roma's, Uno, Olive Garden etc etc, but it would be nice to find a couple of restaurants that aren't chains, in the hope of more variety and maybe a better quality meal?

2. Any dining packages at either Disney or Universal that people would recommend? I'm thinking along the lines of the Rivers of Light or the Wishes Dessert Party. I've done the Dessert party and a fireworks dinner at Universal (neither of which I thought were mind-blowing), but are there any that are really good?

Teaks comes out very favourably on here.

Depends on when you're going but definitely worth doing a package for the Candlelight Processional (especially if it's a top narrator). We did it for our Nov/Dec visit and saw Whoopi Goldberg. We booked Restaurant Marrakesh as it was one of the cheaper options and still had a lovely meal.
