Getting to Kennedy Space Centre
DH is saying he doesn’t want to drive next trip which is fine as we are on Disney property and can taxi to Universal for our overnight stay there. We have free tickets for Kennedy Space Centre though. How much would a taxi there and back be?

I checked a few taxi fare calculator sites and you are looking at circa $290 return. Some are over $400 though
I would have thought there must be some coaches doing this run. Edit. The easiest and cheapest way would be a 1 day car hire from WDW

Attraction Tickets Direct do a Kennedy Center ticket with transport to Orlando. Perhaps give them a call and ask if you can pay for the transport element only as you already have the tickets. Nothing ventured etc.

Gray line coaches
Gray line coaches do transport only to KSC for about £120 for 2 adults and a child. 10% discount code on the site this weekend for Black Friday. Only know as I’m looking at going too!

I booked a return trip with Viator which was I think in the range of $50-60 return if I'm not wrong. Downside of doing this is that the timings are fixed, so can't leave earlier or later if you want to.

Thanks all. DH will hire a car I imagine given the taxi costs and thank you Mr Tom for doing that. I’m still doing subliminal work on him for us just to get a car anyway but I can’t grumble if he won’t as I will not even attempt driving there. I drive here daily. Used to have a job where I drove a lot to unknown places. But can’t get my head around the right hand side of the road.

You get used to driving on the other side very quickly. The fact that you are sitting on the other side make a it much easier. It isn't like driving a UK car in France.
Since you are confident driving to new places I am sure you would be fine. Why not take the opportunity of a one day hire this time to add yourself to the insurance and have a go?

Driving is driving. Around Florida i find it easier and less stressful than in the UK.

We have used Florida Dolphin Tours a few times for Kennedy trips. You can book with them directly or go through ATD.
Their coaches are modern and comfortable and their guides are knowledgeable too. They offer lots of pick up options as well - we go from I drive but they do pick up from Disney too. |

Oh yes that was the company that Viator booked me on (Florida Dolphin Tours). They do pick up and drop offs from the Swan which is near Epcot.
