Only place I manage this is Universal when we stay onsite. Lanyard with pass and charge everything back to our room.
Love the freedom it affords me, but never managed it anywhere else.

Bag checks dont usually slow me down too much but I use a very small kipling cross body bag and have each compartment unzipped before I approach.

I prefer no bag at Universal as there are quite a few rides where you have to put all bags in lockers to ride (no matter how small they are)

We find we have to take a small bag at least. Magic bands help as everything can be charged on this. We still need to take sunglasses, as both DH and I need prescription ones we have to have either our regular glasses or sunglasses in a bag to swap out for indoors/outdoors. Plus phone for MDE for more FPs etc. Suncream, wet wipes, plasters for blisters, tissues, small amount of cash possibly, deodorant stick etc. Also portable charger for phone or camera. Camera is usually worn around one of our necks but can also go in a bag sometimes. We don't usually find bag check takes too long really. We always have all zips open as we approach security to get through asap.

Like others have said at Disney if you’re staying on property you can charge things back to your room using your magic band.

I use cargo shorts personally with lots of pockets for all the essentials. It’s a pain if selected for extra screening but not as bad as some of the queues for those with bags. Plus side is to then not to have to carry anything.

This. And much less if you’re not arriving at opening.

Not worth the hassle of going without a bag imo. We don’t take lots but suncream and an umbrella are essentials, along with somewhere to put the sunglasses when on the rides.

I had a small crossbody bag that I used to carry sunglasses, an autograph book and a small travel sized bottle of suncream. Some days we didn’t take the bag and just put most of the bits in my other half’s huge pockets!

Not sure the problem you are looking to solve. Bag checks tend to be 5 or 10 mins at very most. Alternatively just carry in water, phone and card or money.
