Thomas cook to miami
Has anyone flown with Thomas cook to miami if so what was it like?
We normally fly virgin or thomson but am looking at the keys and we have flown to miami before but from Heathrow with virgin. Is the legroom with Thomas cook that bad, food service , do you have seat back tv?

Seat pitch is the same as most full service carriers and their food gets lot's of good reports. Some IFE is available free but if you want the premium IFE package it costs £5.

We flew with them in 2015 from Manchester-Miami - absolutely fine. On time, food ok, leg room fine. We have booked to fly to Las Vegas and Orlando with them this year. x

we flew with them last year to miami, no problems at all we like thomas cook never had an issue with them, only reason we haven't booked for next year with them is because flights only went up to october for now and we wanted to get it booked as soon as to secure the villa we wanted

Seriously thinking of booking as prices seem good £400 each I don't think that's too bad😊
Good to here you liked the flights ,never done long haul with them but planing a trip to keys so would be ideal 😊

Careful now - I'm on Manchester to Miami in August and our flight out is on the second Air Tanker without seat back IFE. It's streaming to your own device.
There's a warning on the page when you're getting a quote if the flight is on this plane. |

We did this route this year. PE out was good, IFE entertainment even paid for is poor, food and drinks good.
I did however find the seats a bit uncomfortable, seemed hard. We also got to Miami airport for trip home fortunately with 4 hours spare. They couldn't find our booking or tickets so it was touch and go for nearly 2 hours whilst they sorted it out😡😡

We flew Man-Miami in 2015 and then Man-LAX in 2016 with Thomas Cook and the flights were great. As someone said, the basic entertainment package (maybe 10 programmes/movies) is free but costs £5 to upgrade to a bigger selection. You only get tea/coffee/squash free and need to pay for cans of juice and alcohol.
Food was really lovely outbound, not so great on return but that's the norm! Probably prefer Virgin and BA as the entertainment system is better and all drinks included, however, I would definitely fly Thomas Cook again if it was the cheapest with no hesitation. |

Done Miami 3 times, twice with Thomas Cook and once with BA (only because TC cancelled their flight). Have to say preferred Thomas Cook over BA and as they say you get what you pay for to some extent. Paying £100 plus more for BA just for free drinks and better IFE is not value for money in my opinion. Did Air Tanker 2 in May and again no issues. Didn't bother with the IFE to be honest. Beware though if thinking of 2018 as no flights have been released at yet by Thomas Cook.

14 of us flew man to miami thomas Cook premium cabin last August and it was FAB, one of the best flights we've everhad...I would do it again I a heartbeat.
We hadn't flown into miami before, so we stayed two nights there to see the sights, it was good fun but if we did it again I would just stay in an airport hotel overnight and drive up to Orlando early the next morning
