Been a bit rubbish to be honest. Got here at 9. Wave pool didn't open until they'd finished filming for tv at 11, kids area didn't open til 2, lazy river closed due to storm yesterday so water is green, got charged twice for same ice creams, the bands that mean u don't have to queue... well me and dd queued for over an hour before giving up. Every other ride we went to said closed so couldn't get a return time. Nightmare. Until the wife complained (along with a very long line of others) and got us all ultd express passes for universal/islands for this weekend. Result. Haha

Oh dear doesn't sound very good, hopefully it'll all settle down over the next few days. Good result with the unlimited passes though.

The wife waited an hour in the complaints queue before striking the deal for express pass tickets with the guy managing the queue. Just gone past, an hour later and the people that were in front of her were still in the queue! Really poor customer services.

There was an article on a financial website suggesting the opening could be a flop due to the tight timescales. They also mentioned that customers may not like queuing when wet to get a bus back to the multi-storey car park!

I wonder if Universal went for this date to steal some of Disney's Pandora thunder. If it wa the case it doesn't appear to have worked.
