If so, I hope they're discrete - I'm not into public humiliation
There are scales for the group rides, and also for the tube slides in the volcano (ones where the floor drops away!) - I believe the limit was 200lb for these. I weigh 175lb and could ride x

They are discreet, don't worry.
We had to go two and two on Honu and our heaviest person is less than 15 stone. I guess we could have gone as 3, but I'm wondering if they were having safety issues, so lowered the weight limits. You are not individually weighed, it is a big metal pad on the floor that you all go on.

Without being too graphic it is needed for some group raft rides.

There was a horrific incident in America last year where a boy was decapitated on a slide after the raft took off a bit and hit some netting above.

It's more about weight distribution in those cases rather than individuals being too heavy.

Note that slide was an extreme one not your day to day waterpark slide

It was a 10 year old on a single raft, that was both too light and underage. The raft hit the bottom of the slide and bounced.

There were a couple of other ladies in the raft, both receiving facial injuries after being struck

Either way my point was more about that they are unlikely to be weighing individuals more to make sure a group going on a raft is the correct weight and distribution.

Thanks for this. I have no desire to do the slide where the floor drops away - I'm too much of a wimp for that! I'm not a huge fan of water slides/tubes to be honest so not too worried but might do some of the raft rides or just enjoy the main pool. My fav water park is Typhoon Lagoon so VB has to go a long way to beat that for me!

Very usefull
Single rides are 300lb limit (around 21st)
Group rides vary between 750lbs and 1080lbs
Think we better go early in holiday as after 3 weeks of American food the lbs pile on 😀😀😀
