ANIMAL KINGDOM / AVATAR : Flight of Passage
If we leave our bags in the car just for the purposes of getting in the queue for FOP (and then get our bags out afterwards), is there a special "NO BAGS" queue that means we will bypass others who are being checked at 8/8.30am? Sorry if it's obvious. But we're total novices! TIA. |

There is a no bags queue, but you'll honestly waste a lot more time heading back out of the park and lining up for security again which will be much busier after the parks open.
At 8am, it should only take a few minutes. If you get the massive queues like a previous poster, you could be cheeky and send one person through the bag line with all the bags, while the rest go through no bags and save a spot in the tapstile (gate) queue. |

Or just Fastpass... we had a 10am Fastpass today. The standby line was four hours. Fastpass line was 15 mins!

Got our Fp for 6 persons at 60 days for the time we wanted. Happy days.

I think they must have really skimped on the number of Fastpasses they are allocating for this ride. To have a 10-15 min fastpass wait with a 4 hour standby wait is not normal...

I think so. We have waited in some 20 minute fast pass lines for rides like Pirates and buzz lightyear but we had no wait for this in the fastpass line.

I'd be interested in how many riders per hour the ride can take. We rode last week with a FP and commented afterwards how it was good to have a "long" ride - the whole experience seemed to last a while. Wonder if it's the sheer volume of people causing issues. It's a shame because it's such a cool ride, no one should have to wait 4 hours that's awful!

Or, when it comes to boarding the ride, the CMs are heavily prioritising folk with fastpasses. That would lead to short fastpass queues and very long standby queues.

Tried to get fast passes for this today as it's 60 days out. No joy. However, it's a EMH morning. Will we still have a chance of getting on there with that extra hour?
