'Ohana bread pudding and QS desert question!
I'll roll my questions into one!
I'm planning on going to 'Ohana but it's going to be just me and two children. Will we all be able to have the bread pudding rather than the brownies? I'm not so keen on having to share one portion between 3 of us! Can we use a snack credit for desert in QS places? There are a few places I want to have pudding without having to pay OOP as we're on the DDP. |

I don't know about Ohana (although Disney are generally great about substitutions) but you can definitely use snack credits for QS desserts, providing they have the DDP logo next to them. Almost all of them do, just some of the pricier ones aren't eligible. At a resort QS though, you shouldn't even need to use a credit - swap your drink entitlement (since you have the resort mug) for a snack item instead.

The portion of the bread pudding is BIG - It is made for sharing! Plus it is an all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant so if you want more you can order more! So yes, in answer to your question you can all have that rather then the brownies.
Yes you can use a snack credit to purchase dessert, no problem at all. If you are at a resort eating at a QS place, you can swap the drink for a dessert (they expect people to do this due everyone having their refillable mugs). We did this back in May with zero problems.

If you do happen to be served a tiny piece of bread pudding to share at 'Ohana don't be shy about asking for some more.
You pay for all you can eat, so "refills" of anything are included in the price. I think they just start you off with a smaller portion because they presume you'll be stuffed! As they say - don't ask, don't get!
