Magic bands virgin

Hey all

I was just wondering if any could give me some knowledge on these Disney magic bands.

We were thinking about getting ours from Disney springs, is this a good idea? Is there a lot of choice at DS? I'm really keen for a Star Wars one. How much do they cost on average?

A colleague of mine said to get wrist bands before we fly to save time but I'm struggling to find wristbands that aren't ridiculously priced on eBay or trying to find a reputable place that sells them in the UK.

Are you staying in Disney or off property?

If you are staying in Disney, you will get bands given to you.

If not, there is a Disney shop in MCO airport that you can buy them from 👍

I think they will even link you bands to your tickets while you are there as well 😀

We got ours in Disney Springs this year and there are loads to choose from (none in the actual Disney store they are in Pin Traders). You can also get customised ones at D-Tech in the CoOp which are more expensive but are cool! They print them within about 30mins so you can do some more shopping and come back to pick them up.

Pin traders is really good at DS. My OH got a Star Wars one there.

We bought when landed from the Disney shop at MCO. It took literally 5 mins and they linked the cards then and there. There wasn’t loads of choice in comparison to the parks but enough for us x

If you're not going to the parks day one, you could also try the outlets. Depending how well the SW bands are selling, they may have moved stock across to there and they'll be pretty cheap.

But otherwise, airport store! We're staying on-site so get the free ones, I still may pop in to check out the designs.

We bought ours from the Disney Store at Premium Outlet on Vineland...although the choice isn't as great they are half the price or less than from Disney.

it is really east to link them to your tickets via MDE, we did it once back at the villa

I'm not very good with directions but I have looked at the mco map and I can't understand if you are arriving where are u in comparison to the terminal shopping area? I.e. Where is the Disney shop in.m comparison to the baggage claim as I can't see that on the mco map. Do arrivals and departures mix?
