This is our favourite ride and we rode it multiple times on our February and August trips last year. Would have been really disappointed if we'd decided to go this Feb and it wasn't open. Looking forward to the new land when we return in December although I expect it will be very busy.

For anyone going in the next few months this would be a huge pain in the backside and would also reduce the whole of HS to just a couple of rides - I'm thinking Easter would be a write off and possibly bring this whole lack of a park to a head.
As much as the Disney Organisation nickel and dime to a huge keeerrrrrrrkhhhhing to their profit - a park with just 3 proper rides would signal a low in even their capacity to run a park properly. TSM added the extra track with very little down time - I'm hoping they can find a way of working around all of this sooner rather than later, otherwise I am sure it will become a huge issue.

What are the three major rides that will remain - I’m wondering what else is closed? Thanks!

Not just major rides - Rock'n'Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror and Star Tours will be the only rides in the park after TSM closes. HS never had that many rides to begin with, so to lose even 1 or 2 is a big chunk.
The rest of the attractions that are still open are shows. Edited at 10:26 PM. |

Gosh I hope it's open by May! My little ones have so few 'fast' rides they can go on and this is a favourite of my daughter.

Actually it will still be a full day.
The queues at the remaining rides will be FAR bigger and longer as they soak up the people who would have been queueing for the ones that are now closed...

If you've never been before you can still make it a full day experience. There are a fair few shows to see (some of which can be quite lengthy) and two phenomenal night time spectaculars that are definitely worth the entrance price if you've never seen them before.
Not to mention my favourite restaurant (to date) in Disney World - The Brown Derby. |
