We did Citricos just over a week ago and in our view it's got even better if that's possible.

But our old favourite Jiko's is slipping down our list sadly.

To me, Citricos was very laid back and relaxed and great food. Narcoosses was a bit more stressed, it was clear everyone wanted a firework view and was more families, made for a lively atmosphere which spoilt the food somewhat.

I keep on going back to Citricos, I'm glad I tried Narcoosees but in no hurry to go back.

I went to Narcoosees and found the food average and service verging on the slightly surly. One meal of steak came out cold and sent back. No apology or anything. Restauarant was freezing (was a lot of complaints on TA) and was told it’s the staff who like it like that. For a meal at £40 a head it would have been ‘OK’. For twice that nearly we all thought it was ridiculously overpriced. But others love it, including a friend of mine.

I’ve been to both - and enjoyed both though Citricos made a big fuss of me during my last birthday and the food was amazing.

For my 40th this year I’ve chosen Narcoosees- due to it being July 4th and I want to see the fireworks!
