Yes to Crocs at both parks - they are brilliant IMO.

You can wear your Crocs everywhere at Discovery Cove, bar the Dolphin Lagoon (you just leave them on the rocks at the side - they don't get nicked). The only place I took them off was for the Dolphin swim, wore them everywhere else / in all the other pools.

Over at Typhoon Lagoon the we spent 90% of our time in either the main wave pool (for reasons obvious) or the lazy river. Crocs were fine in both & did not get washed off when the surf wave is knocking you back 10metres or so. In fact the floor of the main wave pool is so rough you may well want something on your feet - I've still got grazed knees & elbows to prove it!

I woukd NOT recommend wearing them.
I wore a pair in Spain to walk along the sea front. Unknown to he, they produced a blister which then burst and I gad a hole through to the bone.
Consultant said Crocs were terrible for this.

I must have been lucky then as I've never had any blister problems with Crocs - have had horrible blisters from some Menorcaean sandal-type shoes years ago, they went in the bin as a soon as we got home!

My first impression of Crocs was that they would be uncomfortable & sweaty. IMO, I was wrong - although I did have to buy them in Dubai where the terracotta-coloured block paving at Aquaventure would literally cook your foot-soles in real time in August (45C in the sun).

I'll be using the Crocs again 3 weeks today.

I have used crocs for full days in the parks (the original clog type) and also in the water parks with no problems. I find them comfortable so I really don’t care what they look like. I have awful problems finding comfortable shoes - feet very wide.

Ditto here - quite wide feet. Maybe this is why I find Crocs so comfortable? Either way they're out again in 3 weeks time.

I only wear them in the waterparks / when walking around the resort we staying in (off-site) to/from the pool etc. All other times I much prefer a comfy pair of trainers - not least because they are somewhat more hygienic when going into food serving establishments / supermarkets (i.e. no exposed feet) - that said, enough people do seem to wear open-footed shoes over there. Also there is no chance a pair of laced up trainers can fall off on Mako's airtime hills! (I have seen 2 iPhones meet watery deaths on Mako from riders in front of me with loose pockets).

I also have awful problems finding comfortable shoes. I have lymphoedema in my legs/feet which causes constant swelling. I can't buy footwear in a normal shop as none fit me - I have to buy them from a company called Cosyfeet which specialises in footwear for problem feet. They're expensive but I don't have to pay VAT which helps a bit.
