My daughter rode splash, space and thunder mountain at a very young age. When she rode Dinosaur as a teenager, she got scared.

It was clearly the effects that made these rides terrifying and not so much the physical forces.

If we go to AK before you I'll let you know. My DS 4 wants to ride dinosaur this time. I have told him he might find it scary but its all pretend.

Maybe tell him just before the ride to shut his eyes if he gets scared.

When 5, my daughter loved BTM but was terrified by Dinosaur - it was hard to get her on anything for a while after that (this is a child who, aged 3, cheered on the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park with 'come on dinosaurs, you can do it; you can eat those peoples up!')

That's an awesome quote Love it!

I don't blame her for being scared in Dinosaur, it's really dark in there and those huge dinos and strobe effects are scary.
