Thanks for all your comments - you have made me feel so much better! LOL

I even committed the cardinal sin and 'You Tubed' it and I have to say I was also very underwhelmed!

Don't get me wrong, if it could fit into my plans I would have a nosey but there are lots of others evening activities I would rather be doing or seeing!

My initial plan is now all starting to fall into place! I just need November park hours to be released now! X

They can't have fireworks in Animal Kingdom in case it affects the animals - their welfare has to come first.

Yes thank you - I know, I am not stupid! I was comparing the new end of evening events, not saying it wasn't good as it didn't have fireworks. I spent an hour waiting for ROL to start and then what seemed like much longer desperately hoping it would finish. I would not see it again whereas I would see Star Wars again. To me that is the best guide of what you felt about it.

Last year was our 4th time and our first seeing illuminations 😊.

Not fussed about ROL if we're there and we get in without a long queue then we may try it. We didn't bother with the jungle book show last year either. Would rather use my fast passes for Everest and dinosaur.

You specifically mentioned fireworks in your post so I assumed that's why you didn't like ROL. Sometimes what people intend to say in forums doesn't always come across as they intend.

We watched ROL on Sunday evening and after 5-10 mins the show stopped due to technical difficulties then started again after another 15 mins then later was cancelled due to more technical difficulties gutted really as I've never seen it so we aren't sure how much we missed!

Not mad at all. I saw it the second day it opened. I think it's lame.

Im glad I'm not the only one thinking this... I have seen some short clips and wasn't really impressed! I think will keep it on the agenda but will be the one evening show we scrap if needed!
