Water park at a weekend?

Are the water parks really busy at weekends? I know that the theory is they fill up with Locals but is that actually the case? Has anyone been? my alternative theory is Saturday is transfer day so less holiday makers?

We've been before so not worried about queuing for things we know are good, and we don't spend all day in there anyway.
Just trying to get my plan to work and currently can only really get water park on a Saturday.

Having been a number of times to the waterparks at the weekend it's surprisingly not that busy actually (maybe the theory is a lot of guests go to the parks) but looking at when you go I don't think you'll have a problem

I once attempted on labour day. I couldn't even get a parking space. I would not choose to go on a weekend.

We try to avoid weekends as they are noticeably busier than weekdays.

I guess it depends on a whole load of things. Will you get there early or not? Do you want to ride the popular rides or just float/chill? How hard is it to re-arrange your plans to avoid the weekend?

If you want someone to say "going at a weekend will be fine" then, yes, it will be. Just it will be busier than going mid-week!
