Day 4 Tuesday 22nd October Animal Kingdom

Breakfast, Animal kingdom

A lighter start today. DH and I had the yummy jalepeno pretzels from a stall near the safari and DD had an elephant ear pastry. All a snack credit each. There is some outside seating next to the stall.

Snack

DD had a kids snack box from Tamu tamu refreshments for a QS credit. We sat in the seating area behind which was a nice quiet spot near a fan. From memory there was a yoghurt , some goldfish crackers, few other bits and bobs and a bottle of water.

I wanted a cupcake from the kusafari bakery but they hadn’t got them out yet – still had the breakfast pastries out and unfortunately never made it back.

Lunch Yak and Yeti Andapur local foods

This was our first time here. DH and DD aren’t fans of Chinese food. We shared a portion of honey chicken and a frozen lemonade for 1 QS credit and some fries and fried rice which were snack credits. DH and I really enjoyed the food and there was plenty of it.

The seating is outside but we got a shaded spot.

After a swim and break back at the hotel we headed back to animal kingdom for dinner. The maid had left the bears map reading.

Dinner

Rainforest café, Animal Kingdom

DD enjoys Rainforest cafe, think it was our third time here.

We all enjoyed it here. It wasn’t too busy and we had a good server. I had the steak with fries, DD had pasta alfredo and DH the double burger. For dessert I had chocolate cake and DH cheesecake and DD the kids worms in dirt chocolate mousse. We all had soda to drink.

Food was very tasty.

Cost 2 adult TS credits and 1 child TS credit.

We love reading your food reports. Love IHOP and the food at Garden Grill looks delicious.
Your daughter looks very grown up now. Loved her painted face on the first day, she looked lovely.

Day 5 Wednesday 24th Hollywood studios

Breakfast

For a change we headed to the boardwalk and had breakfast at the boardwalk bakery. I had a bagel and DD a mickey oreo cupcake for snack credits. Can’t remember what DH had.We ate outside overlooking the water and got a friendship boat to HS.

(We were fine parking at the boardwalk)

Lunch

Sci fi, Hollywood studios

We have eaten here 3 or 4 times before and always enjoy it. We paid cash not dining credits.

DD and I shared a burger and fries and DH also had a burger.

DD had a light up drink in a reusable cup – makes sense to get her one here as it is dark.

We were seated in a car which DD always enjoys.

I did think prices had gone up – seemed more expensive than previous visits. DH had the cherry flavoured coke and we passed on dessert.

Snacks

We had a couple of ice creams from the stall near tower of terror. We paid with snack credits.

Dinner

Whispering Canyon, Wilderness lodge

We had eaten here a couple of times before the menu change and enjoyed it. This turned out to be our least favourite meal – not horrible but just ok.

I had the strawberry milkshake with free refills to drink which was good.

Definitely no fun and games from the server.

She also assumed DD was an adult and just brought the adult food. So DD ended up with her meal after we had eaten.

We wont bother with this one again.

Yes the cakes and the bagel were snack credits.

I did ask and you could have a pice of fruit, cake or pastry and a drink for a QS. Not best value but if you have lots of QS credits better than wasting them.
