I get ya - I do,

But us minions over at CBR didn't ask for this,

If I were you I'd give Disney a call and have a rant at them

afterall they caused this mess and your ill feelings

maybe they will $pread the £ove a £ittle and make you feel better...

you never know, maybe just a room upgrade or $25 giftcard.

Its your holiday too and your blood shouldn't boil

so point that boiling blood at the people who caused this and not the actual victims of it, you know the people who were forced to move and have their plans disrupted.

Hello and welcome to theDibb.
I booked my third trip to CBR last April. We love it there and it suits us. Unfortunately the announcement of building work and closures was announced and suddenly my holiday as I knew it was to change. Not wanting to holiday in a building site, I requested to be moved. I'm entitled to that you see. The price difference is not really relevant as they are both moderate hotels. Like for like. I'm sure if the same was to happen at POFQ, you would have the same level of concern. Disney have offered this to their guests, maybe you should take this up with them?

No I'm not sure anyone would be upgraded from A Moderate like CBR to a Deluxe like AKL over Simple Refurb, surely not.

That would be a colossal $$$$ upgrade.

Like Papamouse we booked CBR because that's where we wanted to stay. We have kindly been moved as a big part of our plan revolved around resting/relaxing by the pool. How can we do that when it's noisy/ dusty and can't rely on getting a decent lunch. You are getting what you paid for we weren't getting anything like we paid for.

I know of two Family's from my own town that are traveling to Orlando and staying at Disney Both have booked to stay at CBR and are being upgraded to POFQ rather then take the $75 a night.
There booking were only made within the last 4 to 6 weeks surely Disney should have warned them of any building works at the time of booking, But no Disney upgrade them.
