Ticket start date when booked with Disney hotel

Hi all

Just wondering what the start date of the ultimate tickets are when booked directly through Disney as part of a package.

Do they start the day you check in?

Or do they start the first time we actually use them?

Just found the answer on an old post so sorry for the duplication!

It appears the ticket is only activated on day of first use, not day of arrival

Yes, they are activated on the day of first use.

One thing to point out is that you can't use them before you check-in. So the first day you use them (and therefore activate them) has to be either on the day you check-in or any day after this.
