MVMCP tickets... Can I just confirm?

So I am sure I know the answer to this but I just want to confirm?!

Am I right in thinking the Party Tickets are standalone and can be used without normal park tickets?

The reason I ask is we are at HRH and Universal in our first week, Disney & YC in our 2nd week. So our Disney tickets only starts when we check in at the YC.

If dates fit, I would like to go to the Christmas Party in our first week but at that point we wouldn't have Disney park tickets.

Thanks - just want to be 100% sure.

Yes. Definitely.

You can enter the park at 4:00 PM on your party tickets - we did this last year.
