Mardi Gras 2017 Concert Line-Up Announced

The streets of Universal Studios Florida will be filled with all of the sights and sounds of Mardi Gras and some of the biggest names in music will take the stage from Feb. 4–March 25.

Headliners performing at this year’s event include girl group Fifth Harmony, multi-platinum recording artist Jason Derulo, country singer-songwriter Toby Keith and the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire. Check out the complete line up below:

• February 4: Trace Adkins
• February 11: Ne-Yo
• February 18: Collective Soul
• February 19: X Ambassadors
• February 25: Fifth Harmony
• March 4: Kool & the Gang
• March 5: Olivia Newton-John
• March 11: UB40
• March 12: Toby Keith
• March 18: Jason Derulo
• March 19: Earth, Wind & Fire
• March 25: The All-American Rejects

The family-friendly Mardi Gras parade brings you the sweet sounds of the bayou, dozens of vibrant dancers, stilt performers and floats straight from N’awlins. This year’s parade will feature SIX all-new floats themed to mythical creatures including:

• Manticore’s Majesty
• The Rise of the Garuda
• The Dance of the Dragon
• Phoenix from the Flames
• Garden Sprites
• The Flight of the Pegasus

Mardi Gras will run 50 consecutive nights with more opportunities to see the glittering Mardi Gras parade, hear the sweet sounds of The Big Easy with live bands straight from Bourbon Street and enjoy flavorful Cajun cuisine at The French Quarter Courtyard.

Mardi Gras festivities are included with your Universal Studios Florida admission.

It seems to finish very early this year - previous years it ran on until around mid April at least.

I have never been, but from looking at the line-ups i would agree. I wonder if it is due to the extra cost of running the parade etc every day?

As regards UB40 i think it is, unfortunately, the one without Ali Campbell. If it was the one with Ali i would be there
