I agree with this, it just does not appeal to me at all. I hate horror films since watching nightmare on elm street and poltergeist in my teens. It did me in forever. Took me 3 yrs to pluck up the courage to go on in the haunted mansion at MK!

My son went at 13 and really enjoyed it. I hate horror films but still enjoyed it as there was a great atmosphere for the most part. I didn'treally find it scary at all after first hour.

We are planning to take our 2 next year ds turns 15 out there dd will be 17. Both love horror themes dd especially is into the walking dead. We are planning to watch some you tube footage and decide between Hhn and howl o scream at Busch gardens as they have said they definitely want to do one

Depends on the child, ds would have loved it at 14 but dd at 14 no way was scared of her own shadow (though at almost 16 she loves horror now and desperate to go). Keep promising them when they're both out of school/college we can go in October.

It really depends on the child. Our DS was 9 when we went and was absolutely fine. When we went we told him it would be scary and watched loads of you tube videos of previous years beforehand and he wanted to go. Told him if he was too scared we could leave.

Going next year and he will be 14 and he is already asking what houses will be there. Honestly I'm more worried how my 69 yr old mum will cope than him!
