DeniseGB gives the correct advice for Spain and Majorca in answering the OPs question.
It certainly isn't true that for all countries within Europe that you only require passports for valid on dates of travel. Not even all EU countries are OK with that, Estonia require 3 months validity for example and there are others as well. |

fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-...y/europe/spain I rang the passport office last week and was told for Majorca/spain the passport only needs to be valid for the time you are in the country
